Bichon Frisé

a small, white, non moulting, curly coated dog,

which originates from the Mediterranean area

- perhaps the fabled Atlantis ?

They sure like to *blitz* - which is the name given to their sudden short bursts of high speed running - mainly indoors - which is often accompanied by a growling noise!

Abigail seemed such a waif- then along came

Henry

and now there were two diminutive dictators giving rise to ...

Meanwhile ..

- just keep pouring Dad - we know that Mummy is teaching Henry to walk to heel! ..no hope!

Henry was not sure that he wanted to come on this path! But despite his reluctance...

he was a thoroughly nice, lively puppy ....until his rain coat appeared!

Then he would give his impersonation of well set cement! Not a muscle, not even an eyelash moved!

Baby Abigail with Collie Sheena - a rescue dog we cared for and fattened up for 3 weeks until nice new owners were found. Abigail was not in the least awed by this large companion and fortunately Sheena did not expect us to "throw" Abigail for her!

Are you sure this is where mum keeps the treats?

I never could figure out how to put up the old type deckchair !

Bad news youngster -

I've looked you up in Dogs of the World and I'm afraid you don't exist!

Ah poor baby!

Don't believe everything you read in dog books - dogs can't read! One of our books says "Bichons don't need much exercise and should always be kept indoors". You tell that to our two seen here at Romney Marsh

Bichon Frise at full gallop (Henry's leading).

The best thing about winter is knowing that Spring's not far away..

when we can't get out with them they still have a large garden to play in
and August 1998 there's someone new!
I'm Chas! I love digging holes!!!! Why does Dad keep saying "I thought Bichons only came in white!"
