HAMPDEN PARK

Hampden Park is a few hundred yards from where we live. The lake has good numbers of wildlife being originally the "decoy" for the local manor house. It was purchased by Eastbourne Council in 1902 and although allowed to get very run down in the 80's during the last few years it has started to get the attention it deserves and it is now a wonderful park once again.

In Spring it's lovely.

The occasional white squirrel is a constant source of amazement to visitors. They are grey squirrel.'s in disguise!
