| A FINE MORNING AT THE BEACH |
This is part of the shore where William the Conqueror landed
his troops in 1066 - Eastbourne is in the mist but today..
it's fun day for Abigail & Henry :-)

Here's one of the groynes which stop the current from taking
the shingle away. It's overdue for renewal but has lots of exciting sniffs!
This is one of the few places where Abigail runs and runs and runs
- Henry does too of course! They won't go in the water!
Here they are pausing for a moment to watch mummy washing
seaweed - why she washes seaweed we don't know
Horses were being exercised - except they couldn't get them
moving!
and there were lots of dogs of all shapes and sizes to talk
to and blitz with.
not that they needed anything else to blitz with ..yippee
Some of the sand is dry - with scrunchy shells..
but we like the wet sand best :-)))
I'll bet some of our bichon friends wish they looked like
this!!
Time to go home - before the tide comes in
OH NO - DON'T TAKE ALL THAT LOVELY SAND AND SEA SMELLS OFF
US!!
